A jury convicted Defendants-Appellants Song U. Chon ("Chon"), Alejandro Garcia-Rico ("Garcia-Rico"), Manuel Cardoza ("Cardoza"), and YCL Corporation ("YCL") of conspiring to smuggle, transport, and harbor illegal aliens in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(A)(v)(I). A jury also convicted Chon of money laundering in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956(a)(1)(A)(i) and (B)(i), and three counts of willfully aiding and assisting in the filing of a false...
