Dr. Melissa S. Gerald, a scientist formerly employed by the University of Puerto Rico ("University"), says she was sexually harassed by her supervisor, Dr. Edmundo Kraiselburd. Gerald reported the harassment and this protestation, according to her, led the University to retaliate against her.
