Robert Montgomery was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2). Montgomery was convicted after a jury trial and was sentenced to 188 months imprisonment. Montgomery appeals his conviction, arguing that the district court1 erred in denying his motion for acquittal. Montgomery also appeals his sentence, arguing that his prior Missouri conviction...
