Defendants, insurance companies doing business in Kentucky, appeal the district court's certification under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23(a) and (b)(3) of statewide plaintiff subclasses. Plaintiffs, insureds of Defendants, allege in this diversity action that they were assessed incorrect charges for local government premium taxes as a result of Defendants' failure to correctly identify the taxing jurisdiction...
