The defendant pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child, see 18 U.S.C. §§ 2252A(a)(5)(B), 2251(a), and was sentenced to 420 months in prison. But he reserved the right to appeal for the limited purpose of challenging the legality of the search that had yielded evidence that substantiated his guilt.
