Before her death, Evelyn Jeranek was a resident at the Nu-Roc Nursing Home ("Nu-Roc") for the better part of two years. Barbara Becker, Ms. Jeranek's daughter and the personal representative of her estate, initiated this action in state court against the Chrysler LLC Health Care Benefits Plan (the "Plan") after Humana, the Plan's third-party administrator, denied coverage for Ms. Jeranek's stay at Nu-Roc.1 The defendant...
