On August 27, 2007, Byron Christmas and Tiffany Banks were arrested by Chicago police officers and charged with felony drug possession. Following a bench trial, Christmas and Banks were acquitted of all criminal charges. On August 17, 2008, Christmas, Banks, and Banks on behalf of her infant daughter ("Plaintiffs"), sued the City of Chicago and several of its police officers asserting violations of the Fourth Amendment pursuant to 42 U.S.C....
