After discovering that she had lung cancer that had spread to her brain, Susan M. Killian sought the advice of a doctor whom she trusted. On that doctor's recommendation, Susan underwent aggressive treatment. Unfortunately, the treatment was ultimately unsuccessful and she died a few months later.
