The plaintiffs, Habitat Education Center, Inc., a citizens' organization engaged in forest, wildlife, and natural resource protection, two of its officers, and the Environmental Law & Policy Center successfully sued to enjoin a number of logging projects planned for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (the "Forest"). The district court later lifted its injunction after finding that the defendants took the appropriate corrective action...
