Kotresh Salvanki arranged over the Internet to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex. The "girl" actually was a police officer, and after driving for several hours to the agreed location, Salvanki was arrested. He was convicted after a jury trial of violating 18 U.S.C. § 2422(b). The district court calculated a guidelines imprisonment range of 121 to 151 months...
