Richard Gacek appeals the decision of the district court1 granting summary judgment to defendants Owens & Minor Distribution, Inc. ("Owens & Minor") and Marc Johnson on Gacek's 42 U.S.C. § 1981 retaliation claim and to defendant Gregory Mattson on Gacek's state-law defamation claim. For the reasons discussed below, we affirm.
