LCI Equipments, Inc. ("LCI"), a Texas corporation, imported and sold a Yanmar tractor that had been manufactured and used in Japan and then rebuilt in Vietnam. Rudy Slater subsequently purchased the tractor at auction and was killed in a rollover accident while driving it. His wife, Arkansas resident Wanda Slater, commenced a wrongful death action in state court, asserting negligence and strict product...
