A jury convicted Matthew Joseph Collins of one count of attempted distribution, and one count of receipt, of child pornography in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(2). He was also convicted of simple possession of child pornography in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(4)(b). His conviction for possession was vacated by the district court1 as included in the receipt offense. He was sentenced to 235 months...
