John Briasco was charged with possession with intent to distribute more than 50 kilograms of marijuana after a Nebraska state trooper discovered 182 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of the car he was driving. The district court2 denied Briasco's motion to suppress, and Briasco entered a conditional guilty plea, preserving his right to raise a Fourth Amendment violation in connection with his traffic stop.
