Daniel Lee Bedford is scheduled to be executed tomorrow, May 17, 2011. Earlier today, the district court granted Bedford's motion for a stay (filed last Friday) to give Bedford additional time to prove that he is incompetent to be executed, see Ford v. Wainwright, 477 U.S. 399, 106 S.Ct. 2595, 91 L.Ed.2d 335 (1986), and additional time to obtain review of the state trial court's Ford ruling...
