Charles Landwer, Jr. pleaded guilty to mail fraud, see 18 U.S.C. § 1341, and at sentencing received a two-level increase under U.S.S.G. § 2B1.1(b)(9)(C) for using "sophisticated means" to perpetrate his scheme.
