Defendant-Appellant Troy Lee Moore challenges his sentence of 327 months of imprisonment, which was calculated, in part, on the district court's determination that Louisiana's aggravated battery statute1 qualifies as a crime of violence under § 4B1.2(a) of the United States Sentencing Guidelines ("U.S.S.G." or the "Guidelines") thereby constituting Moore a "Career Offender" under U.S.S.G. § 4B1.1(a).
