Ty Brock was stopped at a vehicle sobriety checkpoint in Lake Station, Indiana in the early morning hours of November 8, 2009. He did not pass with flying colors. Officers that approached Brock's vehicle smelled a strong odor of marijuana when he rolled down his window and saw Brock trying to hide a ceramic plate with a powdery substance, a razor, and a straw on it under the driver's seat.
