Prakash Naik,1 who had over thirty years of experience in the pharmaceutical sales business, was fired by his employer, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (BIPI), allegedly for falsifying his call records. Naik, believing he was fired instead because of his age and national origin (Indian), filed suit against BIPI, claiming violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. § 621...
