Soyner Umanzor and Odir Esquivel-Menendez pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine mixture or fifty grams of actual methamphetamine. The men also pleaded guilty to additional, related charges. Umanzor now appeals his conviction and sentence arguing there was no factual basis for his plea and he did not make his plea knowingly and voluntarily.
