The Appellants are six colleges1 ("the Colleges") who brought asbestos-related property damage claims against the Asbestos Settlement Trust ("the Trust"). The Trust originally disputed the Colleges' request for payment on certain claims and commenced adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.
