Following a jury trial, Frank Iron Hawk was sentenced by the district court1 to 120 months' imprisonment for assault resulting in serious bodily injury to a child in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 113(a)(6) and 3559(f)(3), and 57 months' imprisonment for child abuse in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1153 and South Dakota Codified Law (S.D.C.L.) § 26-10-1.
