ROGERS, Circuit Judge:

Edward Brown was convicted by a jury of bank fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1344, and passing fictitious financial instruments, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 514, for trying to deposit two fictitious "bills of exchange" in his account at a federal credit union. He appeals on the ground the district court abused its discretion by permitting introduction of other crimes evidence that was unnecessary...
