Defendant Judah Prince, indicted by a federal grand jury on drug and firearms-related charges, moved to suppress evidence seized by the government during a search of his residence. The district court not only granted Prince's motion and ordered suppression of all evidence seized from Prince's residence, it also sua sponte ordered suppression of all evidence obtained by the government from the inception of its investigation of Prince.
