Jeffrey Joseph Davis (Davis) appeals his conviction for willful failure to pay his child support obligations, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 228(a)(3) and 228(c)(2). The district court1 denied Davis's motion for a judgment of acquittal at the close of the government's evidence and his renewed motion at the close of all the evidence.
