Eric Jackson was sentenced to a 96 month term of imprisonment for possession of a firearm by a previously-convicted felon. The gun that was the basis of the possession charge was found on Jackson's person when the police executed an arrest warrant for Jackson in an acquaintance's apartment where Jackson had been staying.
