Edward Booker was convicted by a jury of possession with intent to distribute at least five grams of cocaine base, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(B). The district court sentenced him to 380 months. Booker appeals, arguing that the district court erred by allowing a juror to reference extrinsic evidence during deliberations and by denying his Batson challenge.
