After retiring from his job as a meat cutter, Thomas Eisenrich began receiving monthly benefits from the Minneapolis Retail Meat Cutters and Food Handlers Pension Plan ("Plan"). When Eisenrich later began to work as an independent distributor for a baked goods company, however, the Plan stopped paying his monthly benefits, asserting that his new employment made him ineligible.
