On October 15, 2004, after a four-day trial, a jury convicted appellant Timi Wallace of various crimes related to the September 2000 armed robbery of a firearms store in Providence, Rhode Island. He was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison (300 months). Wallace appealed, challenging both the validity of his convictions and the sentence imposed by the trial court.
