GARLAND, Circuit Judge:

The district court dismissed plaintiff Jacqueline Robinson-Reeder's Title VII claims against her former employer, but permitted her to file an amended complaint to preserve her claim of defamation. On the same day she filed the amended complaint, Robinson-Reeder filed a notice of appeal from the dismissal of her Title VII claims. Subsequently, she and the defendant filed a joint stipulation dismissing the defamation claim without prejudice...
