A jury convicted Anthony Calabrese of three counts of robbery and three counts of using a firearm in connection with those crimes. On appeal, he asks us to reverse his convictions on several grounds: that the court should have conducted separate trials for each of the robberies; that the judge should have excluded an audiotape that recorded what was said during a beating administered to a potential witness; and that the evidence was otherwise...
