After they were charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, Yesenia Sanchez and Agustin Morales-Mata moved to suppress evidence that was seized during a search of a vehicle in which they were traveling. The motions argued that the state trooper who stopped the vehicle lacked adequate justification under the Fourth Amendment for his action.
