This is a criminal appeal from the convictions and sentences of five members of the Hispanic street gang "Sureños-13" ("Sur-13"). Armando Prudente, Roberto Sandoval, Israel Cruz, Jorge Flores, and Ricardo Gama (collectively "the defendants") were charged with thirteen others in a 31-count indictment for crimes involving, inter alia, conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act ("RICO"), 18 U.S.C. § 1961...
