The district court enjoined William J. Benson, a "tax protester," from promoting, organizing, or selling his "Reliance Defense Package" and "16th Amendment Reliance Package," which were based on the false premise that customers could stop paying federal income taxes and avoid or defeat prosecution by relying on the materials in the Packages. However, the court denied the government's request to require Benson to divulge a list of his customers...
