On appeal, after his trial to the court, Kamil Madfoun Al-Esawi challenges the sufficiency of the evidence offered in support of his conviction for making a materially false statement to federal agents on January 20, 2006. He further challenges the district court's1 denial of his severance motion regarding count one and count three. We affirm.
