Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada filed this interpleader action in August 2006, in order to resolve the allocation to beneficiaries of a $48,000 life insurance policy on Dianne Sampson, who died on December 26, 2005. See 28 U.S.C. § 1335; Fed.R.Civ.P. 22.
