The district court sentenced him as an armed career criminal under 18 U.S.C. § 924(e) and U.S.S.G. § 4B1.4 based on his prior Wisconsin felony conviction for taking and driving a vehicle without consent and several Virginia felony convictions for grand larceny auto.
