Nathaniel James, a federal prisoner who was convicted of one felony count involving a crack cocaine and powder cocaine offense, appeals the district court's judgment denying his motion to reduce his sentence under 18 U.S.C. § 3582(c)(2). He contends that Amendment 706 to the sentencing guidelines lowers his base offense level by two levels and, as a result, lowers his guidelines range.
