Fourteen former sales leaders ("Sales Leaders") of defendant Cornerstone America ("Cornerstone") filed suit for unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA"). The federal district court granted summary judgment in favor of the Sales Leaders on the threshold issue of whether the Sales Leaders were employees or independent contractors under the FLSA.
