Phillips, a partner at the Phillips and Phillips Chartered Law Firm, and his wife and secretary, Alicia Morales-Phillips, of eight counts of willingly making a false statement to a federal agency in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001 and eight counts of immigration fraud in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1546(a).
