Vincent and Janet Dressel (the "Dressels") are developers who remodel and convert private homes into student residences. A group of homeowners and community organizations (collectively, "Logan Neighborhood"), concerned that the Dressels' construction was degrading and devaluing the historic character of their neighborhood, brought suit in federal district court seeking injunctive and declaratory relief.
