Daniel L. Habhab and members of his family (Habhab), who are of Lebanese descent, operate a towing and car repair shop in Ames, Iowa. Habhab filed a lawsuit against several Iowa state patrol troopers claiming violations of equal protection, as well as violations of procedural and substantive due process.
