Appellees are a putative class of owners of cars manufactured by appellant, Chrysler LLC ("Chrysler"). Almost thirteen years ago, they brought a products-liability action against Chrysler, claiming that certain braking systems in Chrysler's cars were defective. More specifically, in a complaint that was later amended three times, appellees asserted a cause of action under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty-Federal
