Kevin Lee Ruff ("Ruff") pled guilty to several counts of health care fraud, embezzlement and money laundering. The district court originally sentenced Ruff to a prison term of 12 months and one day and three years supervised release, recommending that he serve his sentence at Geiger Corrections Center ("Geiger") to allow him to work, pay restitution and visit with his then 11-year-old son.
