The defendant-appellant, Paul A. Hignutt ("Hignutt"), appeals his convictions of Felony Theft and Falsifying Business Records, following a jury trial in the Superior Court. Hignutt argues, first, that the trial judge abused her discretion by permitting a witness for the State to testify about the witness's personal goals, and second, that the trial judge committed legal error in failing to instruct the jury on the lesser included offense of Misdemeanor...
