Defendant-Appellant Robert A. Gattis was convicted by a Superior Court jury in 1992 of Murder First Degree and other charges relating to the shooting death of Shirley Y. Slay. After a penalty hearing, the jury recommended the death penalty, which the Superior Court imposed.
