Having found by clear and convincing evidence that respondent, Lathal Ponder, Jr., violated District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct 1.1(a)-(b), 1.3(a)-(b), 1.4(a)-(b), 1.5(b)-(c), 1.16(d), 8.1(a)-(b), 8.4(b)-(d) as well as D.C. Bar R. XI, § 2(b)(3), the Board on Professional Responsibility ("the Board") recommended that respondent be disbarred from the practice of law in the District of Columbia.
