In this matter, appellants, Sherry Allen and Wayne Allen, filed a wrongful death and survival action against the District of Columbia, after their son Eric Allen ("Allen,") aka Eric Roberson, a prospective firefighter, participated in a required Physical Ability Test ("PAT"), became ill, and died.
