After a bench trial, appellant L.C. was found guilty of first-degree sexual abuse, in violation of D.C.Code § 22-3302 (2001), and first-degree child sexual abuse, in violation of D.C.Code § 22-3008 (2001). On appeal, L.C. claims that the trial court erred in admitting, in a bench trial, the complaining witness's out-of-court statements about the sexual assault.
