Appellants Reginald and Darrell Perry, who are brothers, appeal their convictions after a joint jury trial. They were indicted on a number of assault charges: (1) mayhem while armed (with a shod foot);3 (2) aggravated assault while armed (shod foot) ("AAWA");4 (3) assault with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) ("ADW");5 and (4) (bottle) ADW.
